Since its founding, the Regional Competence Centre has delivered numerous projects funded by the European Social Fund, Erasmus+, and other regional and national programmes. Below is a selection of key initiatives.

Regional Competences for the Labour Market

A flagship ESF-funded programme providing competence diagnostics, tailored training and career coaching to over 500 participants from the Podlaskie region. The project ran in cooperation with 30 local businesses who co-defined the required skill profiles.

Teachers as Competence Architects

A professional development programme for 200 teachers from secondary and vocational schools, introducing competence-based curriculum design, active learning methods and digital classroom tools. Delivered across 12 schools in Białystok and surrounding counties.

Erasmus+ Partnership: Future Skills for Future Workplaces

An international partnership with organisations in Germany, Finland and the Czech Republic exploring how vocational education can better prepare young people for automation and digital transformation. The project produced a cross-border competence framework adopted by all partners.

Digital Podlaskie – Upskilling Rural Communities

A targeted programme bringing digital literacy training to residents of rural municipalities in the Podlaskie voivodeship. Over 350 adults participated in courses covering online communication, e-government services and safe internet use.

Young Entrepreneurs of Podlaskie

A business incubation and mentoring programme for young people aged 18–30 seeking to launch their own businesses. Participants received business plan support, financial literacy training and access to a network of regional mentors and investors.

Bridge to Employment – Graduate Transition Support

A six-month programme supporting university graduates in their transition to professional life. Services included competence assessment, individual coaching, CV and interview workshops, and direct introductions to participating employers.
